"Who the hell is Stage Whisper-Her?"
That'd be us, your new go-to new music discovery platform and live music events collective. Otherwise known as Piper Page, Juliana Gomez, Juliette Drayton and Yvetta Zheng.

Back in October 2020, the four of us were randomly placed into a group to produce a virtual concert for our Producing Live Music Events class. From that moment forward, this team was set in stone. Although it was "just a class project", we took it more seriously than that. For us, it became a passion project.
As we spent more time together in Tuesday night strategy meetings, we learned that we worked well together and had a creative flow that made our concert one to remember. After 6 weeks of intense planning, we put together a virtual concert benefitting New York Dance Marathon and the B+ Foundation that raised $1,119. And the second it was over, we knew we couldn't stop there.
Due to the pandemic, our team has been working tirelessly from New York City, to Nanjing, China to New Orleans, Louisiana to Phoenix, Arizona. Though we aren't physically in the same place, we've become an unstoppable team. Since our show ended, we've been piling together ways we could keep the Stage Whisper-Her name alive, and here's what we came up with:
Stage Whisper-Her is a new music discovery platform and live music events collective, started by four NYU women. We aim to spotlight the "whispers" of the industry, or in other words, up-and-coming musicians, and give them a platform to share their story and journey. We'll be featuring artists through our podcast series "Take Note", our blog, and our weekly artist spotlights on our Instagram. But we don't stop there. Our podcast will also highlight the rising music industry professionals that are making a name for themselves and paving the way for the next generation of music business executives.
The Stage Whisper-Her Blog will be a place for SWH members to write about the things in the music industry that make them passionate about music. Everything from "Must-Listen" lists, to album reviews, to controversial industry topics and cases, to interviews. We're about to dive deep into the industry.
In addition to SWH being your go-to for all things new music content, we're continuing with our beginnings as a live music events collective! Coming soon to a (virtual) stage near you, Stage Whisper-Her has some incredible things, with amazing artists and brands, planned for the new year.
